MEET THE TEAM

Amy

Hi I’m Amy, the Nursery Manager. I have a wealth of experience from both teaching in schools and working in nurseries since completing my Early Childhood Studies Degree and also my PGCE (post grad certificate in education) in 2017. I am responsible for everything that happens in nursery on a day-to-day basis and I am one of the designated leads for safeguarding. I love the variety of my role as I support both the staff and the children, highlighting my dedication to high standards of care and education. I am passionate about the importance of early years education and love seeing the children develop. Broadheath Day Nursery is a special place where we work closely with families leading to outstanding outcomes for our children.

Imogen

Hi im Imogen, I’m close to completing my Level 3 Early Years Educator apprenticeship. I’m currently based in preschool but have a wealth of knowledge in all areas of the nursery as well as experience with children with additional needs. My passion outside of work is riding my horse Dice and taking part in show jumping.

Tia

Hi I’m Tia, I came to Broadheath day nursery as a student and upon my completion of my degree in children’s and young people’s mental health I undertook a full time position within the preschool room. I’m passionate about providing a fun and engaging environment for the children in preschool whilst supporting their development ready for their transition to school. I’m a huge footie fan with a season ticket for wolves and my second team is arsenal womens.

Stacey

Hi I’m Stacey, I’m a qualified Level 2 practitioner and work within the under 2’s room. I love arts and crafts and enjoy providing the children with a broad range of activities that help them to achieve their milestones. Outside of work I like to create my own crafts and enjoy spending time with my family and friends.

Sarah

Hi I’m Sarah. I’ve worked in childcare for over 13 years. I’m a busy mum of 2 boys who participate in many sports, so my evenings and weekends are spent on the side of a football pitch cheering them on. I am passionate about supporting children’s development, in particular ensuring the inclusion of children with additional needs.

Lucy

Hi, I’m Lucy. I’ve worked at Broadheath Day Nursery for 3 years. I have a level three in childcare. My former careers include Paediatric Nursing and latterly, Response Policing-which I decided to leave to have my family. I am married and have 4 children. I love spending quality time with family, sports & cooking. I am passionate about investing in children’s development, wellbeing and education.

Rachel

Hi I’m Rachel, qualified primary school teacher and nursery SENDCO. I’m a mum of 2 children and enjoy spending time with my family and friends. My passion lies with supporting children with special educational needs being able to access all aspects of education. I also work closely with outside agencies such as Speech and Language, the Inclusion Team, audiology team and more.

Laura

Hi I’m Laura, I’m based in the under 2’s room alongside Stacey. I’m a mother to 4 boys, soon to be 5! I enjoy going on camping adventures with my family and getting cosy on the sofa watching reality tv.
